Persepolis together with Naqsh-e Rajab und Naqsh-e Rustam is one of the greatest ancient sites not only in Iran but in the entire Orient.
The photos shown here were taken in 1992 with a Rollei SL 66 when the excavation site was visited on the first trip of German 'Orientalists' organized after the Islamic Revolution.
