A selection of images first from Iran, e.g. from Taq-i Bustan, Hamadan, Isfahan and Yazd, taken on a private trip from Germany to Afghanistan in 1970, performed with a VW Beetle that is occasionally seen on the slides.  The photographer W.B. (1934-2012) wants to remain unnamed.

Some of the same places were visited in the 1990s, which allows a perfect comparison.
