The Sheikh Faisal Bin Thani Museum is located outside of Doha in Al Shahaniyah and is the largest private collection in Qatar if not in the Arab Gulf States. The collection, which includes several thousand objects, covers many areas, with a focus on numerous vintage cars and Islamic art. The presentation and exhibition has changed over the years and has in some cases been made much more professional, also because the museum has been enlarged several times.
