The trip was made in the summer of 1988 together with Mine Kadiroglu (23.4. 1944 - 19.4.2022), the route ran from Sivas via Tercan, Erzurum, Haho, Öşk, İşhan, Parhal, Dörtkilise, Dolishan, Yeni Rabat, Tbeti, Kars, Ani, Digor, Hoschavank, Horomos, Çengelli , Erçis, Van, Yedikilise, Hoşap, Soradir, Albayrak (Bartholomäus Monastery), Gevaş, Ahlat, Muş, Bitlis, Siirt, Cizre, Nusaybin, Mardin, Deir az-Zafaran, Kızıltepe (Dunaysir), Silvan, Çayönü (prehistor. Excavation), Elazığ, Harput, Eski Malatya, Adıyaman, Nemrud Dağı, Eski Kahta, to Urfa.
The aim of the survey was to visit and document unknown or little explored Byzantine, Armenian, Georgian and Islamic (especially Seljuk) monuments. Finally, the tourist highlight "Nemrud Dagi" was visited.
